Psychedelic Integration: Psychotherapy for Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness
“Psychedelic Integration: Psychotherapy for Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness” is a pioneering guidebook for those interested in psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration.
Psychologist and psychotherapist Marc B. Aixalá responded to global inquiries about integrating psychedelic experiences but found no comprehensive resource. His efforts to assist others led to “Psychedelic Integration,” a book that reviews the development of psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration research since the 1960s. It outlines therapeutic techniques and shares a clinician’s observations on the profound journey of healing.
Targeted at both practitioners and the curious, the book provides 11 metaphors to understand integration and clearly outlines the seven dimensions of integration. Aixalá connects these dimensions to both preparation and the psychedelic session experience.
