About Simona Rakusa
You are here because something in your experience is asking to be understood, integrated, and lived more fully. I provide a compassionate, professionally held space to explore and embody what emerges in non-ordinary states of consciousness.
For over 15 years, I have supported people in preparing for and integrating expanded states with care and respect for the wisdom of the psyche. I am a Grof® Holotropic Breathwork facilitator, psychedelic-assisted therapist, and certified integrative psychotherapist. I have completed more than 2,500 hours of training and self-experience and facilitated over 300 workshops and retreats internationally.
I currently contribute to Grof Legacy Training USA, supporting the development of future breathwork facilitators and psychedelic therapists within the Grofian lineage. Previously, I collaborated with MIND Foundation in Berlin, where I co-created and facilitated the Beyond Experience integration workshops and supported the Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) for future psychedelic therapists.
Whether your experience was profound, joyful, confusing, or challenging, integration is about helping its insights gently unfold and take root in your everyday life. Together, we create space to reflect, regulate, understand, and embody what is ready to be integrated — at a pace that feels right for you.
I am also the co-creator of Sailors of the Soul, a 12-week guided journey supporting conscious preparation, navigation, and integration of expanded states.
Before dedicating myself fully to this work, I spent nearly 15 years in journalism and business. My own turning point came in 2010 through Holotropic Breathwork — an experience that opened a deep trust in the transformative potential of expanded states when approached with humility, structure, and care.

Simona Rakusa's approach to integration
Integration for me is a process of learning from your extraordinary experiences in non-ordinary states of consciousness for the purpose of growth and well-being in your everyday life.
Whether you have been exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness in retreats, ceremonies, therapeutic settings or with your friends in recreational use, they have the power to provide us with the full spectrum of potent experiences. As blissful or as troublesome as they might appear when you approach them with curiosity and reverence, they can become your life’s most profound and significant experiences.
What can you expect in the process?
Substance or non-substance associates arise as compressed experiences calling you to pay attention, make space and explore them from different angles. For that to happen, we create a safe and supportive space and time for them to expand beyond the extraordinary and manifest themselves as learnings in the cognitive, emotional and spiritual landscape of your ordinary existence. Above all, I meet you as you are, with my open heart and mind and offer understanding, compassion and absolute support.
What is the framework of the process?
My integration program consists of 6 sessions of 1 hour each within 3 months. For the time between sessions, I offer you creative exercises to support you in further exploration of your learnings and insights. Also, I am at your disposal for consultations and interventions in our private chat group. While closing the process we review your process and evaluate possible further steps.
How is your life by the end of the process?
The process helps you to make better sense of your experiences in non-ordinary states of consciousness and grow your capacity to accept different aspects of yourself. You can learn to better navigate such experiences and to make them beneficial for your everyday life. You learn integration methods and techniques you can use for yourself and others.
